Hurricane Procedures

The National Weather Service and local forecasters generally inform the public of an approaching hurricane or tropical storm so that proper precautions can be taken.

In the event of a hurricane, please take the following precautionary measures:

  1. Move all valuables and sensitive equipment away from windows and/or perimeter offices to interior areas.

  2. Draw all window blinds and shades.

  3. Close all perimeter office doors, ensuring that they remain unlocked.

  4. Do not store any files, paper or other damage-prone materials or equipment on the floor.

The building may be officially closed and services may be shut down during the period when the storm is predicted to arrive in the area. Property Management personnel will maintain communication with tenant contacts for the building.
